BEFORE YOU DIVE IN…

 

Kim Griffin is an actor, comic, writer, producer and coach. She holds a BFA in Acting from Boston University’s School for Theatre, and an MFA from The Old Globe/University of San Diego Professional Actor Training Program, as well as certificates from The People's Improv Theatre, UCB, The Neighborhood Playhouse, & London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. A member of Actor’s Equity Association since 2004, she has performed at Ford’s Theatre, Roundhouse Theatre Co., Olney Theatre Co., Boston Playwright’s Theatre, The Old Globe, Humana Festival, City Theatre Co. and IAMA Theatre Company. Selected film credits include “Cursed Friends” - Comedy Central, “Movement + Location,” “Streetlight Stories” and “A Lotus Til Reckoning,” for which she received a Best Supporting Actress Nomination at the 2014 Kew Gardens Festival of Cinema. As a standup, Kim has appeared at Flapper’s, Haha’s, The Friend Zone, Echoes on Pico and lots of sketchy LA mics.

Her independent comedy series, “Dick Bunny” is finishing its festival run, having appeared at the Austin Film Festival, Dances With Films, the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival, and SeriesFest, where Kim won Best Performance in a Digital Series.
